Culver Lake Litter Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m.
The goal of the event, besides keeping our dear old lake pristine, is to bring the community together for a common cause. It’s also a great lesson for young ones (and not so young ones).
The cleanup is expected to last 2 hours (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), and will be followed by pizza and refreshments at the clubhouse.
Cleanup teams will be assigned to Normanoch properties and all the roads closest to the lake. We recognize that these roads make up only a part of the lake community, but the goal here is to focus on as much as feasible in one day. Therefore, we ask all residents to look out for litter in streets and neighborhoods not covered by the Cleanup Day, as well as in the water and along the shoreline.
Volunteers will be given orange safety vests to wear and are encouraged to bring their own work gloves, if they have them. WE ALSO REMIND ALL RESIDENTS TO DRIVE CAUTIOUSLY.
