On Sunday, July 20th, 19 members came out to participate in our 7th annual Around the Lake Scavenger Hunt.  It was a hot day, but everyone had a great time.  Congratulations to Team #3 for winning this event!  Hannah Cummings, Julia Raffetto, Grace Campbell, Robert Parisi and Olivia Harvey all did an excellent job finding most of the 30 items on the list, plus the two extra bonus items (Hannah's hamster is so cute!).  A special thanks to all the parents who helped out during the even- we really appreciate the drivers- thank you!

Our last event will take place on Sunday, August 10th at 3 PM.  We will end the season with a party to celebrate each of our members birthdays.   Everyone will need to bring a wrapped birthday gift in the $5 to $10 range for either a boy or girl.  There will be present exchange with a twist at this event that is sure to be a lot of fun.  We hope everyone can attend this event as we celebrate each member's birthday with cake, games, and fun.  We will also vote for new officers for the 2009 summer season.  Hope to see everyone at this last event!  Please call Barbara Haggerty at 908-400-6355 if you have not signed up to date.
